Shoopit was created in 2022 out of a commitment to making the internet transparent, democratic and borderless. As opposed to being an online shopping aggregator, shoopit is an online shopping optimizer – this means that we don’t simply collect prices – we will scour local versions of global websites to get the best possible prices for our users.
Shoopit will show the best prices offered by some of the most popular flight booking websites, allowing for shoopit users to make better, informed purchases online, while at the same time making savings – regardless of where they live or what their IP address is.
Avi Raz Cohen
Avi Raz Cohen’s career in high-tech started with the founding and development of dating app MatchUp, which reached over 2 millions users. In 2014, he joined Hola as Product Manager. After starting a family and joining another tech company in 2018, he returned to Hola in 2020, where he rose through the ranks to become VP of Product. At the start of 2021 his operational and business expertise saw him being appointed as Hola General Manager. In 2022, with a talented incubation team, he developed and launched shoopit.
Head of R&D
Grzegorz is shoopit’s resident tech guru. He boasts over a decade’s worth of developer experience, working for a succession of cutting edge tech companies. His trajectory has led him to be Head of R&D at shoopit, where his engineering expertise, his love for travel and a commitment to a democratic internet make him an invaluable driver of the shoopit values and mission.
Head of Product
Tomer’s career in product management spans over a decade. As well as being a product expert, Tomer has diversified his career and is today also a professional coach. By combining his deep skill sets, he is a key driver of the team behind shoopit’s well-being and productivity. Today he is shoopit’s Head of Product – making online purchases more democratic for all, as well as more fun.
Global Communications Manager
Jonathan spent the last 20 years in the fields of communications, public relations and marketing. His career trajectory saw him make an impact for multiple global brands in Belgium, the UK, South Africa, Switzerland and today, Tel Aviv. His knowledge of brand values and languages makes him a key component to the team that brought shoopit to life through compelling and relevant content.
