Let’s do brunch in New York

Hangovers. If you look into the history of brunch (it’s actually pretty interesting), it came into existence thanks to these bringers of headaches. When a city is called “The City that Never Sleeps”, sometimes a couple of tylenol or nurofen alone won’t do the trick. Thankfully, when it comes to NYC, the options are endless. That said, there are some places that are simply way ahead of the pack. And not just because they serve a mean Bloody Mary.

Banter Both of their locations are health-conscious, guilt-reducing options for brunch. With one of them in Greenwich Village and the other in the West Village, this Aussie-owned establishment knows what it takes for you to get a second wind to keep exploring this incredible city. Their sweet potato fries are essential!

Archer and Goat This family-owned and run establishment opened in 2019 and has garnered a loyal following who take their brunch rather seriously, and we can see why. All day brunch and bottomless mimosas on Saturdays and Sundays will keep’em coming! Check out their Spiced French Toast. You’ll be glad you did.

One if by land, two if by sea  In a landmark Greenwich Village carriage house and with a name as poetic as its food, this is the place to enjoy a more mellow vibe. Voted in the top 5 most romantic places by Architectural Digest, you’ll be able to dig into this fine dining establishment (yep, it’s fancy) while listening to live Jazz. Like something out of a movie. For real.

Good, thanks “Your everyday space for coffee, breakfast, lunch, sipping wine, chillin” - yep, those are their words, and they mean it. This hipster joint is a friendly, welcoming environment who serve up mean avocado toasts, bagels and Acai bowls (as well as some really interesting dishes whose flavors will wow you for sure).

Diva Royale Drag Brunch The Diva Royale Drag Queen Show NYC is both a drag queen dinner and drag brunch show that includes everything from costumes and singing to dancing. All attendees have the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the best drag queens in the city. All while sipping on some damn good mimosas.
